Background

There are two main campuses: Penryn and Falmouth.

Penryn campus

This is shared by two universities: Falmouth University and the University of Exeter in Cornwall.

The campus offers a library, sports centre, research facilities, nursery, gardens, theatre, multi-faith chaplaincy and a range of student services, which are mainly housed in Tremough Annexe. Eating places include the Stannary, Koofi, Amata and ESI café. There is on-site accommodation in Glasney Village.

How could this affect me?

It can be a bit daunting finding your way around a new campus. Getting lost is common when you are new or if your timetable has changed.

Becoming familiar with key buildings and locations may help you to prepare. Familiarise yourself with the different locations before you arrive by looking at our locations pages and exploring the other links at the bottom of this page.

On both campuses you will find a Compass helpdesk, staffed by friendly people who can give you directions and answer your questions. At Penryn, the helpdesk is in the library near the entrance. At Falmouth, it is behind the Fox Café, just past the art shop.
